Week 1: 'Pickpocket'

So... there it is.
Our first video as a group. Its title is Pickpocket, it probably isn't the best we could get, however, given the amount of time for preparation (30 minutes to make up a script and then 2 hours to shoot the film), this film couldn't get any better.
We do hope you like it and eagerly wait for the next ones  to come!

  1. She forgot the books and notes, didn't she? And why she walks away instead of having coffee? :)

  2. She forgot to take them because they're irrelevant to the plot and story:P All she's interested in at the moment is to get her wallet back. That's it, nothing more to it - it's just a reason for her to begin chasing the pickpocket (all in all, it was the main objective of week 1 session):P The books were there just to show that she was carrying lots of things and so in order to order a coffee, she had to empty her hands by putting everything on the vending machine (including the wallet, so that it could be stolen later). Helped?

  3. 'Pickpocket' is Penumbra Pictures' first short film as a group. In fact we were so unprepared and confused that it was impossible the two hours of filming that we have been given to be enough for us. However, we were motivated and concentrated enough and did not waste any time at all. As a whole 'Pickpocket' is not vary good short film but compared to other groups' works it was one of the best. I think we did excellent job bearing in mind the limitations and restrictions that we had.
